I’ll be honest if I were him I’d be like “don’t worry the guards’ll get him” unless he was in the room. There’s no way he was getting anywhere with that plan. Besides I’m probably not the target, if he does get by them I’ll hit him with a “he went that-a-way” and slurp, honestly 70/30 I’ll be fine.
I’d say that was reasonable. If you heard a lot more gunshots go off, and they seem to be slowly getting louder, then maybe worry… but that’s sitting here in my comfortable chair a long ways away from any gunshots…
We don’t really know his target tho, because he was so easily caught. What if he wanted to kill the journalists right in front of his hero Trump as a tribute or something.
His alleged manifesto specifies his targets in order of highest to lowest priority (Trump being highest, then Vance, and other high ranking official excluding Kash) and the guests were non-targets but if they got killed in the crossfire it wasn’t a big deal since they’d go to dinner with a pedo-rapist-murderer.

The manifesto and the actual motive can be two different things

Nah he’ll be shuffling off somewhere surrounded by 6 armed guards, actually running for the exit with him probably puts you in closer proximity.
