I took one after having brain surgery a couple years ago. Was funny to me for a couple reasons:

      • I was given 5 words, then after talking to the nurse for a few minutes I had to repeat all 5 words from memory. I told her that I wouldn’t have done well on that pre-surgery. 😅
      • When I got the “what animal is this” test and told the nurse that I couldn’t remember if a camel or a dromedary has two humps the nurse basically said “I think we’re good here”

My spouse was naturally less amused than me due to the conditions which necessitated the test.

I work essentially a 6 day work week (4 on 2 off) and my favourite hockey team is in the playoffs for the first time in 15 years.

I genuinely don’t know what day it is half the time right now.

they gave my dad those tests before and after major brain surgery to determine if he was the same him before and after (note: the wizards at UCSF succeeded). they aren’t “hard” per se, they’re a diagnostic. they watch you take the test.

Exactly. Which makes Trump’s boast about how difficult they are and that ‘many people here couldn’t pass one’ even more pathetic.
