I used to work for a manager who approached me one day to inform me that wearing shorts and flip flops to work was inappropriate.
I was working as a software engineer, I didn’t interact with customers, and spent my entire day at the back of the building with other engineers.
I asked if I could wear skirts and open toe heels like the woman in our office. He made it clear that wouldn’t be tolerated because he “didn’t want to see that.”
Ugh, flip-flops are so much more comfortable than open-toe heels. Whatever the case, dress codes should be abolished. Only grooming & hygiene matter in workplaces & schools.
You should have just done it without asking. And then if they complained go to HR and tell them you identify as a woman

In Germany, the time which could make a skirt useful, are about 1-2.5 months out of 12 months.
Every other day outside of late June to early September are cold, wet and uncomfortable.
The only thing that matters is that it’s socially acceptable to yourself.
As a dude (albeit a queer one) with a lot going on down there… I wear ankle length skirts in the summer time all the time. Super comfortable, doesn’t stick to my legs like pants do, still get the breeze passing over me like shorts do, and my junk breathes like it is inhaling oxygen for fun.

I don’t mind at all. You can’t really see much which is my intention. I have a severe anxiety so my skin mostly covered up is extremely comforting to me.

I was wondering how many of those kids have started their journey in self actualization; figuring out things about themselves; their needs and desires. It makes me happy thinking of people learning to accept themselves for who they are; and that’s it. Skirts are for everyone. They are functional. help with swamp ass, allow for easy leg movement and assert dominance if the fabric pattern is bold.
Only real downside is chub rub if you got thick thighs. They make thigh covers for that though.
