It doesn’t matter how bad he gets. Until he’s a drooling mess that can’t say a word or is dead, the GOP will continue to prop him up and use him as a puppet.

And when he’s gone they will go radio silent on his health - like they are doing with Mitch McConnel.

When I first read “beginning to seem old” I thought “what rock have they been living under?” Then I thought about my dad’s slow decline and how striking it was when I realized just how close to death he was. His body had fallen apart over the course of five years, following a major heart attack. He went from a vibrant 80 year old that still did carpentry work and could beat me in arm wrestling to a sallow-faced shadow of the man he was.

I know this is a media piece and I believe the staffers are “shocked” about as much as comatose sloth. I can also see how obvious decline can be missed by those closest to them. Dunno where I was going with this. I’m gonna go think about my dad some. I miss him

The book also sheds new light on a symptom the Daily Beast has long reported on: his bulging ankles, which his doctors have said is the result of chronic venous insufficiency.

I can’t wait for his legs to spring a leak like a waterbed and spray out a fine jet of blood during a press conference.

More “maggie haberman wrote a book” stuff.

Not news, but at least it’s well-structured. “Aides revealed he seemed old” no shit? Woah.

“He was also having trouble hearing, asking people to repeat questions they had just asked,” Haberman and Swan wrote. “Joint press conferences with world leaders were more often held in the Oval Office than in the East Room, in part because the acoustics were better, and he didn’t have to stand for an hour.”

And while the president has always been known for speaking his mind, “whatever thin verbal filter he had in the past was gone,” the book continued. Some of Trump’s aides began saying privately that for the first time he was beginning to seem old to them.

“Those who spent time with him could see the signs—the moments of fatigue, the cupped hand behind the ear,” according to Haberman and Swan.

The book also sheds new light on a symptom the Daily Beast has long reported on: his bulging ankles, which his doctors have said is the result of chronic venous insufficiency.

The condition occurs when the legs don’t pump blood properly back to the heart.

According to Regime Change, Trump was upset about the press coverage of his “cankles” and demanded that his press secretary, Karoline Leavitt, address it during one of her media briefings.

Seems like everything else in this article is just Trump and his cronies whining about the news accurately reporting on his appearance and behavior going downhill

It is, actually. DB is trash. Just people talking about his visible bruising, neck rash, ankle swelling, cupping his ears. Not one insight from a doctor.

If you had actually bothered to look, what they are discussing is Maggie Haberman and Jonathan Swan‘s new book which discusses Donald Trump‘s health, amongst other things— based on interviews with White House aides, not just a bunch of photos.

            So, again, no.
