Talking to him is like drawing in sand. They’ve had enough experience with him to know how he operates at this point. They should know better than to think anything they say will get through to him long term or make statements to that effect and they should get out of the way of those who are trying to actually fight him. He has no shame and no integrity compromise will not work.
I know it’s so much easier to throw rocks from the sidelines. There’s shit they could and should be doing better. There’s shit they absolutely should have done better in the past. But I understand the various reasons and forces, and I know these old fucks are trying.
