Frankly, it is an honest thing to say. I’m absolutley fine with politicians having conviction and transparency about their opinions, whether or not they win them elections. If their stance is not going to change and that is one of or the biggest concern for you, I think it is good that she let you know that she would not be a good representative for your goals.

Weird position given that the vast majority of Democrats actually do care about this issue and have a completely different opinion from the DNC in general. That is such an obvious vulnerability that its pretty weird the DNC isn’t doing something about it. But I guess Israel pays them enough to be willing to lose elections.
