yeah in Toronto you’ll get people handing out free samples of alcohol downtown. most of the time they don’t ask for ID but sometimes they do and there’s no way in hell i’m handing over my ID to get a free can of snapple with booze in it.
Well that’s no different than buying alcohol, the people handing out samples are required to be licensed via smart serve and need to check to make sure you are of age. And all they should be doing is checking birthday.
