This phenomenon is a flaw in broad (group) human reasoning, and it needs a name so that we can stop the generational backslide that comes from new people coming along and undoing all progress.

Pretty sure he outright has. He also implied that his fucking building was air tight. Ya know I wonder if it hurts to be that fucking stupid.

I remember he was ones complaining that you can’t open the windows on aircraft, so it wouldn’t surprise me.

I think the airtight building thing was him not understanding the difference between airtight and positive pressure. His building had positive pressure, if it did also been airtight it would have exploded.

I really like to sleep in airtight spaces when my asthma makes me sensitive to smells, so I pull a plastic bag over my head as I go to bed.

Maybe Trump could try that technique? Its more certain than trying to airtight the whole building

This is like when people bitch and complain about a pothole and suddenly when the pothole is fixed? Silence.

I thought the hole is naturally occurring, but that CFCs were causing it to grow more than the normal seasonal variation.

It’s ‘naturally’ occurring in that (simplistically) air currents in the upper atmosphere tend to concentrate ozone depleting compounds produced in the northern hemisphere (more or less) in the southern.

CFC’s are not the only ozone depleting compounds.

Also also corporations fought the science for about a decade until safer alternatives were developed.

It isn’t even about the money, it’s about the power and the game. They’re addicted to the pursuit of power and corporate structures feed that addiction.
