Its greener where I piss, urea is a great nitrogen source.
Yeah, but you’ll salt burn your grass. Add some drywall!
This immediately reminded me of the old phrase “the grass is always greener over the septic tank”
It is actually an old book from the '70s by humorist Erma Bombeck.
Apparently the original phrase dates back to at least Latin times, and was about the fertility and harvest of someone else’s crops.
It’s funny that some time in the 1900s it became about the greenness of grass, something I personally couldn’t care less about.
Even if you have the same greeness of grass, you’re neighbor’s will look greener because you’re seeing it from a more horizontal angle. If you were in their yard, your grass would look greener.

Depends who you bury. My small yard has not growen anything in A few years.
it’s all about balance, how many corpses did you bury there?
We’re now getting into the corpse to lawn ratio instead of the corpse to water ratio.
Clovers are also more resistant toheat and draught than lawn grasses. :) But they don’t do well with people walking over it often. :/
I have a patch of clover on the outside of my fence and I like how it doesn’t grow upwards like grass, so I can get away with not mowing for a long time. I want to fill my backyard with it, and since I don’t really hang out there, walking over it a lot won’t be an issue. Can I just put clover there and let it take over the grass? Or do I need to kill thr grass first?
I don’t know. My knowledge is 100% theoretical. I rember lots of clover in my parents garden, but diy projects often killed patches of grass. So I am.leaning towards you need to remove the grass first. But that is just a guess
We just had a spot of rain after a long drought and the grass has greened back up but the clover looks dead. I think maybe a mix of both is best. The clover did stay greener much longer at the start of the drought.
I’d try this but the water has been hogged by the billionaires
Did someone say “HOG WATER”?!
I did try this and sprayed out the clover after a couple years. It turned out to be super compatible with quackgrass.
Clover is a dicot, and quackgrass is a monocot. Pesticides that work on one don’t work on the other. By killing the clover you opened up niche space for the quack grass. Next time seed the area with what you want
Did both.
Dandelions are only useful if they aren’t taking over everything and will kill clover if allowed to do so.
When the southern US was covered in canebrakes and tall grasses there were natural stops that prevented the spread of dandelions. This is not the case anymore.
