Every single shopping system I’ve used you don’t even know who you’re picker is because who cares. You go on the website like normal, pick the stuff you want, and pay for it.
Presumably some store clerk goes and get the items and put some in the bag and then some one from uber door dash picks it up and delivers it to you.
If you have to remote control them I’m not sure how that’s helpful
They have to be guided? That sounds almost as inconvenient as just going to the store
