You are also stealing their voice. There are tens of thousands of indigenous who do identify as Canadian and you are not allowing any of that.

Navigating legal systems is what we all have to do. I would argue the crime of neoliberalism is just as damning to the human journey and all souls are forced to navigate this too. The only way to fight colonialism and neoliberalism is through realism.

Also, many chiefs openly argue they willing decided to side with the crown to get recognized as sovereigns because they seen the long term value. You are stealing their voice too and infantalizing them.

Edit: to underscore the irony and realism: First Nations in Quebec and Alberta have made the case that their status and relationship with the crown protects them from republican separatism as Quebec and Alberta offer little assurances they would recognize their sovereignty.

Oh, you’d argue something? I’d love it if you could fucking provide even four books on this topic that you used to construct your “argument.”

You even know who Patrick Wolfe is? What settler-colonialism is? I know you don’t give a shit about whether you infantalize people. Best case scenario here is that you are just ignorant, think “I’m not bad,” is a reasonable basis for your understanding, and use the language this system has forced onto you. Except, what you’re saying is quite literally a popular occluding talking point that capitalists deploy.

You completely ignored every point i raised, instead choosing to swear emotionally. This isnt really turning into a very constructive conversation.
