But even they can’t agree on things and have their own agenda, so I think even the hidden control is a chaotic mess and not as neat as a conspiracy thinker would like. A bunch of different people each holding a different puppet string, making moves based on their own agendas and not coordinating their string pulls with the rest.
Yep that makes sense, nobody agreeing on a definitive path with multiple people tugging at the wheel. That tracks. All I know is its going to get messier before it gets better, if that is even possible now.
My take is that it is very much a conspiracy, and not even a particularly well disguised one. It’s actually pretty obvious which is why it’s stunning that so many people simply refuse to see it. Also, it’s a conspiracy of not very smart, but very influential people. The most terrifying option of all is that this isn’t humble stupidity, this is highly coordinated and advanced stupidity by morons who think they’re geniuses because they’ve talked the desperate and the delusional into buying their nonsense.
In absolute terms, being the least dysfunctional moron in the room does not make you smart.
