It’s called capitalism. We pay and work for billionaires. They are arguably the most expensive thing in our live. At least they are having fun.

We’re not even pretending to regulate. It’s a pillaging of everyone beneath the ultra-wealthy upper classes.

It is to the point where it is illogical and a black hole type of all consuming type of greed. They are willing to have nothing left for wealth their bloodline can’t even spend.

Republicans hate “BiG gOvErNmEnT” so much they are completely letting all these giant corporations price gouge and report record profits while workers are struggling. Regulation is bad and scary! Them and their rich donors will still be fine when gas, egg, and bread prices skyrocket…

their view is the “government” need only be large enough to barge into girls’ bathrooms and locker rooms for “gender verification”

Yep. Companies have said that they like the tariffs and inflation because they can raise prices and consumers can’t tell if it’s the greed or inflation that raised those prices.

They are not against big government. They are quite pro big government, but only in a militaristic way. If it benefits a single person they are against it.

Yeah, they definitely want a “big” government to invade other countries with oil or go after their political enemies, but Republicans absolutely pretend they are against Big Government.

That’s actually a great reframing. We are all indeed experiencing the cost of greed crisis. If you read about the circular financing in the AI debt bubble, it’s driving the costs up for everything indirectly.

I don’t think you understand. These poor companies are only doing what they must to provide excellent products and services to the masses. If you cannot afford them, simply stop being poor.

Such as Micron’s 89% margin on stuff they sell to businesses which create consumer products, up from somewhere around 30%

When trying to decide which business to burn down at the next riot, can we see more banks targeted? Landlords would be good too.

Operational costs and the cost of doing business is not the same as the cost of living. The cost of greed is the cost of doing business and companies are absolutely screwing all of us over.

The cost of living is the cost of being gouched to survive.

Not the same thing at all.
