A lot of stuff what billionaires are doing shouldn’t be swept under personal privacy.

“Don’t bug me, it’s my own business how I spend my money”, some would say. For random people, that’s true. But when you command absurd amounts of wealth, maybe all of that stuff has consequences to the rest of the society.

We demand transparency from people who have power over our lives, and oligarchs shouldn’t be an exception to that rule.

Most of them are wealthy because they effectively mass scale doxx everyone to advertisers anyway.

They hate shit like VPNs and places not using any linked ID info and online handles and shit. Anything providing any later of anonymity.

      Fuck these people.

This is vigilantism. When the official authorities don’t seek justice, vigilantes often pop up. I may disagree with their methods, but I think the fault lies with these oligarchs for courting the injustice.

It’s encouraging vigilantism, but I wouldn’t call it vigilante work directly. I agree with the overall sentiment though: When we consider the Four Boxes of Liberty, the billionaires have already done everything they can to nullify the soap box, ballot box, and jury box. All that’s left after that is the ammo box.

Courting injustice? They’re literally bribing and propagandizing to the tune of billions of dollars a year to prop up injustice in this society. In favor of the wealthy class of course.

Short sighted goals by people who don’t understand billionaires. What do they plan to accomplish with this? A billionaire could pay off someone’s $500,000 mortgage, their $30,000 car, pay off $50,000, give them $100,000 in cash and forget about it the next day. That’s $680,000 in a single day which would only be 0.06% of their wealth. Dox them all you want. They will alight about it when they exchange stories.

What does this mean though, are you suggesting a billionaire could just bribe someone to not doxx them?

Society is collapsing and the planet is dying because of these fuckheads. Who cares about the fucking mortgage when it’s looking like Mad Max in 20 years.

What the fuck do you think simping for billionaires will get you?

This is class warfare. You will not be thanked or rewarded for what you are doing. They expect you to fall in line. If you actually care about your fellow humans and citizens, disabuse them of that notion.

Remind them that we can burn their house down with them inside or shoot them in the face. They’re just sacks of meat like anyone else.

This is actually why I think we should bring back the old tradition of pieing corrupt politicians and public figures. The humiliation is only half of the message. The other half of the message is “this could have been a weapon, and you only continue to live because I chose a pie instead. Your security needs to win every time, but we only need to touch you once.”

They could, but they won’t, and that’s part of the problem.

If billionaires walked around clearing people’s mortgages and paying for everyone’s dinner, they’d be less hated. They’d still be a problem, but they could buy popularity.

But they don’t. Because they’re assholes.

Maybe this will scare some of them into changing the behavior. Maybe it will get some of them killed.

I always figured it was a reference to the “birds work for the government” joke. That, or because birds tend to perch up on traffic lights and watch the traffic passing below. Or something about safety in numbers, because Flock’s biggest selling point is that after they hit a certain number of strategically placed cameras, avoiding them becomes nearly impossible.

Luigi Mangioni didn’t send out warning posts.
