I hate to say it but don’t forget about the Kirsten Sinema / Joe Manchun effect. Dems might have the majority in the Senate but they still have enough lurking Demuplicans silently willing to smear their feces on real reform.
They’re looking at likely a 6 person majority. Not that it couldn’t still happen, but 6? (5 I guess since they only need to tie)

May I suggest the term blue dog to refer to these profligates, no offense but Demuplicans is a mouthful to read and also feels like it’s the name of an F tier demon from an SMT game.
