I agree. It feels almost like corporations that co-op social phenomena to trick people into paying them for garbage with the thin veneer of that thing you like painted on. They’re drawing things they like, which is cool, but then try to bait people into consuming it with the transparent facade of some popular character. It feels cheap, like they’re trying to trick us.
