Meta has been granted a patent outlining an AI system capable of simulating a user’s activity on social media to post after their death.
Uhh, why? Is there a big market need for dead people’s social media to keep shitposting? Are they just expanding their plan for the president outwards, I mean they are already making the tool to weekend at bernie’s the president in his dotage as he becomes a vegetable, so as long as it’s developed…?
Simulating an existing (or previously existing) actual human being should be illegal. It’s quite literally identity theft.
