I’m not sure if recommending Helix Editor will help you or not, but the only hurdle with it is learning the slightly different (but more sane) keybinds, as configuration isn’t required (there is no plugin system yet, but a lot is built-in the editor).

thanky, but i think the configurability and extendability of neovim is kinda what i like about it (while also being my doom)
