Regardless of whether there’s a causal link, I’ll never consider a party that systematically disenfranchises people as legitimate winners of elections, least of all ones they’ve specifically tampered with themselves and “win” by a lower number of votes than they’ve eliminated from the rolls for no valid reasons.

True, gerrymandering is disenfranchising millions of democratic voters, along with closing polling locations - but the disenfranchising I’m more concerned with is the voting block being pushed into nihilism by a lack of action by the opposition.
