While I never showered with my dad or mum, my parents were never ashamed of their bodies and ran around the house naked all the time so I’ve seen my dad’s too. I didn’t closely inspect them though so for all I know they might be surgically constructed.

How do you mean, “question what genitals are all about”? He just didn’t know his dad used to have a vagina (or still has one, I did invent the part where he may have had bottom surgery). I actually looked up whether it would’ve been possible for my dad to have had surgery before I was born or even old enough to be aware of him being “male” and it’s been a thing MUCH longer than I thought, so we both learnt something. Anyway, not beating those allegations, dad. (j/k he’s very clearly cis)
