My first thought as well! Most of the thrifts around here either have a special sticker indicating they’ve tested the electrics, or at least an extra mark on the tag.
Goodwill doesn’t clean or wash anything. Which is why the first thing you do when you bring something home from that place is give it a good scrubbing.
Oh it’s a horror show. They claim they do, but I’ve gone there enough to know that’s not true at all. The employees certainly don’t get paid enough to give a shit.
I wouldn’t buy any cloth furniture, pillows, bed frames, stuffed animals, etc. there because of the fear of having hitch hiking bed bugs or fleas.
What’s even more classy is that the thrift store slapped a price tag on it and set it out before checking the basket.
