In June, he was at 58%.
Nice.
How do you disapprove of a guy trying to improve your life? I’m guessing the other 30% are a combination of rich assholes and dumb rednecks who know literally nothing about him?
They know he’s a Muslim, sadly enough that’s enough for many
“Nearly one third of New Yorkers strongly disapprove of the mayors actions.”
Said third failed to name any actions
I get a headline in the NYPost every day about how Zohran Mamdani is doing White Genocide
About a month ago, a poll showed that about 40% of Dems were aligning with the DemSocs. A couple of weeks ago, a new poll showed it was up to about 60%.
The louder the Corpo-Establishment Dems scream about the DemSocs, the stronger they get.
Socialism is the antidote to capitalism. And he hasn’t even wandered that far into socialist territory yet.
Out of the USA he is a mild centre-left person.
Proof that 30% of Americans are a lost cause.
That 30% is as ignorant and stubborn AF. They’d literally prefer the country burn before they admit they’re wrong.
30% of any population
Its so rare for approval to climb after getting in office… Just proves that actually doing shit is feasible alternative to whatever the establishment has been up to for the best forever.
Who would have thought that doing your job could be so popular?
Nice!

Look at that. It’s almost like the rest of the planet was right about social protections.
That’s around the same as Trump’s disapproval rating.
Ironic, given that even Donald Trump approves of Zohran Mamdani.
For anybody that doubts this, I looked it up. Some polls are more in the 55%-60% range, but there are also these:
Reuters/Ipsos (August 21–24): 65% disapprove and 33% approve.
American Research Group (August 15–19): 66% disapprove and 30% approve.I looked into it because I suspected it was more like 35% approve, 50% disapprove, leaving 15% fucking clueless somehow.
Link?
Why the hell is it so low. I’ve heard nothing but good news
Some people actually like exploiting poor people and dislike politicians that make it difficult for them.
I’m a New Yorker, so let me give you my perspective.
Donald Trump fucked over everyone in New York. He called for the lynching of some young Black men, and then refused to admit he was wrong when they were all exonerated. He pissed off the Manhattan elites when he razed a famous landmark after promising to preserve it. He enraged the art world when he built an ugly hotel in SoHo. He personally destroyed a great summer football league. He was seen eating pizza with a knife and fork.
Despite these many insults to the commonwealth, he still got votes.
There will always be a portion of the population that goes fascist during economic decay, the sort of decay that is inevitable with capitalism. They will be throughly propagandized and may never wake up and see the light of reason. A liberal democracy cannot stop a determined fascist movement with capitalist backing with conventional means. They will use and abuse existing political levers to gain total power.
The only thing that will stop them is turning the tables on them via mass resistance of those who have gained class consciousness. They will need to be defeated and suppressed, and barred from having any further political power or platform to spread their toxic ideas.
It might also have to do with the authoritarian personality types YouTube
It’s almost impossible to get over 60% of Americans to agree on anything.
69% approval rating in the US is probably the equivalent of high 80s or low 90s in most of the world.
All those cops who live on Staten Island would be part of it, presumably
Screaming “hold the neighborhood, boys!” even as they themselves benefit
Trumps support rate is around 33% in most polls, so it seems there’s a 30-35% of the population who just hate good things and support shitty evil instead.
That is the 30% that hasn’t personally felt the negative consequences of trump strongly enough to change their minds.
Republican base that only approves of an R next to their name, regardless of literally anything.
Probably the same people who downvoted the posts celebrating Dolly Parton yesterday. Some people are just negative.
The 0.5% who have a pied-à-terre worth over $5 million, and the 30.5% who are just temporarily cash-constrained but surely will be buying a pied-à-terre worth over $5 million in the very near future.

Nice.
