Not versed in US law, so this is mostly rambling. Couldn’t ypu intepret the promise of DOGE checks to be a promise of a gift meaning a legally binding transfer of ownership? If so, how about you sue POTUS for the Doge checks? And while you are at it how about you make it a class action?
Politicians make worthless promises all the time. Nothing canbe done about it.
He’s leaning into a winning strategy for himself: lie about something that obviously you aren’t going to do, and then lie some about something else you’ll definitely do 😉 to distract from the fact that you didn’t deliver on the last thing (or really anything).
It’s a sign of very stupid times that Elon Musk basically runs the exact same conman mechanism and has used it to great business success, while Trump was a loser in business that didn’t really make serious money until he started presidenting.
