He’s leaning into a winning strategy for himself: lie about something that obviously you aren’t going to do, and then lie some about something else you’ll definitely do 😉 to distract from the fact that you didn’t deliver on the last thing (or really anything).
It’s a sign of very stupid times that Elon Musk basically runs the exact same conman mechanism and has used it to great business success, while Trump was a loser in business that didn’t really make serious money until he started presidenting.
People just don’t keep track of all of the broken promises…and I can’t blame all of them, some of us have jobs.
This guy has “promised” about doing hundreds or thousands of things for “America” and delivered on single digits of those “promises”.
