My take is that they got all dressed up but the day was meh, so they have to put the outfit on the back burner and hope it works on another day - but not too soon, because you don’t want to be wearing the same outfit within a short amount of time.
Yeah, kinda. But the humour is a take / satire on main character energy, with a twist of satire on “now I can’t wear this again” hinting at beeing seen on her episode already.
I read it as neurodivergent coded, meaning I really can’t wear this again because the dopamine won’t work twice in a row, but saying it in a funny way, like actually it’s because I’m on a telly show, (which in an of itself causes more dopamine). If you see these jokes that are twists on takes of reality, framing it in a different way, it’s usually a neurodivergent thing, because neurotypicals aren’t hit by every day life things, as hurdles, and therefore aren’t able to see them in the same way.
