complaining about people identifying the toxicity of the bipartisan consensus is just shooting the messenger. you complain about propaganda, while you yourself are reproducing a propaganda narrative.
if the democrats actually distinguished themselves from the republicans it would motivate people to vote for them. the party most responsible for demotivating people is the democrats, rather than owning that their loyalists prefer to blame anything else.

those two points are not contradictory at all.
loyalists vote for the party regardless, but there aren’t enough loyalists to win without a broader turnout. winning requires turnout from people that the party has failed to motivate. that was what happened last election at least.

I was here for 2 months before I found out what the deal was with ml and part of that learning process was hearing other people talk about them and their behavior leading up to elections.
