The problem with equating evils because they only differ by “degree”, is that it only peels off the voters who care about qualitative genocide, which tend to be those who vote against the greater quantitative genocide. The inevitable result is the total lack of qualitative reduction, and the quantitative increase of genocide.
The actual people who make up that quantitative increase do not deserve that which you’ve permitted them. I had really hoped they wouldn’t get it.
