I tried watching one anime to see if I was wrong. Watched high school of the dead, was met with crazy bouncing boobs between a sniper rifle shot. Regretted my decision immediately. All of it screams pedophilia to me.
It’s one thing to have a cool shot, but it went on for 10+ seconds of bouncing animated tits. Just not interested in animated porn. Maybe if it was 12.
There’s been great stuff since the 80s. Even some of the stuff that became popular outside of the typical anime fandoms, you have things like Cowboy Bebop, which oozes style, and the 2 FMA series that have solid storytelling and complex characters with great music and animation.
