The White House has launched another taxpayer-funded television ad before the midterms, this time featuring imagery of President Donald Trump walking down a hall as audio plays of him saying “this is the final battle.”
“We will cast out the communist, Marxists, and fascists. We will throw off the sick political class that hates our country. We will rout the fake news media, and we will liberate America from these villains once and for all,” Trump says in the ad, echoing comments he made during a Veterans Day speech in 2023.
This is undoubtedly a crime and every minion involved needs to be prosecuted and imprisoned for it once crimes are illegal again.
I suspect they’re not actually interested in kicking out the fascists.

It’s not the entire country. Conservatives are dragging the normal people into this. Our nation is absolutely infested with conservatives. This is what happens when we don’t finish a civil war properly. We either finish Sherman’s work or we suffer the consequences of humanizing pure evil.
Watching from the outside, I’ve never doubted they would. USA has always been so disgustingly patriotic, to the point of ignoring everything bad about the country in order to fuel their imagined self image as “The Greatest Country In The World”. It was always going to be like this, when most of the country is that brainwashed and ignorant.
I think it was letterman that started his show with “from New York, the greatest city in the world” that they unreflectively cheered for years … which I think is an example of how brainwashed even the more liberal Americans have been over the last 50 years. Their entire culture has been leading to this point.

One of the first things I learned about climate change in the 90s was the US didn’t ratify Kyoto—and Bush withdrew in 01. Never the good guys. We can go back further (Allende, Nicaragua—not the good guys there either).
But still, even many liberal leaning people, think they are the greatest. And they laughably think this is a blip.

I never watched the Handmaid’s Tale until Trump was elected the second time. Oddly prophetic in some ways, hopefully not in others.
This is so deeply ingrained the the US culture. It’s always been this way, ever since a continent was stolen and Manifest Destiny was a new thing. I mean, Hawaii is a state because it also was stolen, and a federal law prohibited the teaching of Hawaiian culture for like 50 years. If I recall correctly, it wasn’t repealed until like the 90s.

It’s really a fucking shame what a group of pedophiles are doing to the USA and I don’t think their appetite will be satiated with just that one country (playing politics in Europe by the US oligarch is clue enough). Like I really am not optimistic but I hope the US gets their shit together, but maybe they can do something to stamp this shit out for themselves and the rest of us.
I used to love going to the states as a kid/teen on family trips, but don’t think I can ever bring myself to go back. I actively discourage friends and family to do the same. It’s not worth all the freedoms to end up in a box in El Salvador for making free expressive posts like this on public forums. But I don’t trust one iota that my rights would be upheld if I were targeted at a border with an illegal search of my phone.
