It disgusts and angers me that people in Palestine are fearing for their lives and aren’t free to move throughout their country or even feel safe in their own homes. Yet ultra privileged pieces of shit who probably never had to live with anywhere near such fear in their lives not only justify their suffering. They argue against those fighting to end it. And they argue for respectability politics when they are being inherently disrespectful to the people suffering right now.

Fuck Zionists!

This sounds really hostile. There are probably ways to get people to feel empathy for Palestinians rather than having a go at them for their assumed point of view - which psychologically makes them more likely to tie the belief to their identity, if they do believe it, which actually makes it harder for them to change their mind.

The real problem is in groups, humans aren’t designed to view people from different groups and communities as people deserving of moral value.

fuck convincing, if you need convincing to figure out mass murdering babies is bad, then my efforts are better spent kicking you out than convincing you.

If someone doesn’t feel empathy for Palestinians after we all saw tens of thousands of children get massacred for the crime of not being Israeli then they were never gonna be convinced through kind words. Also that second paragraph just isn’t true. Plenty of people, I might even argue that the majority of people, view Palestinians as “deserving of moral value” despite most of us not being Palestinian.
