Reddit is suppressing and botting the fuck out of this right now. So many posts cheering and saying it’s all the Iranian government’s fault.

Make posts linking the US admitting that we made the Iranian currency value drop to nothing on purpose just to cause protests and riots and it gets down voted into oblivion. Seriously dead internet theory. It’s like the bots and shills now actually outnumber humans who have bothered to read anything about anything. o_O

Oh no, no, nobody ever believed he was anti-war. If they claim they did, they’re lying.

You could believe he was gonna clean the swamp, if you were extremely foolish. You could believe he was gonna release the Epstein Files, if you were drunk enough and melted your brain doing whippets.

But you don’t get to pretend, ever, that the man who thinks foreigners are garbage would ever, for a second, think twice about shooting them.

I think you’re underestimating the potential for stupidity of the American people. When I went to vote for Harris in '24, there were people with signs calling him the president of peace. There were also people with signs showing the price of gas during the COVID shutdowns, which is at a similar level.

Can you imagine how much better the world would be if:

    1. Trump voters actually acknowledged they made a mistake
    2. Trump voters decided not to vote anymore because they realize they make bad decisions

That’s all it would take. They wouldn’t have to commit to doing better research next time. They wouldn’t have to try to defend some of what Trump did, or decide which GOP candidates are actually being honest. Just say “Wow, I fucked up. I shouldn’t vote.”

It’s like an alcoholic who wakes up in a puddle of their own puke. They can try to be more careful in their drinking. Or, they can decide “I can’t be trusted around alcohol”. But, it’s not like voting in a controlled way is fun, the way moderate drinking could be fun. Voting is a chore. It should be a relief to be able to say “I don’t have to pay attention anymore, I’m a gullible idiot, let other people take the reins”.

Seriously the fucken ego on some of them makes my literal ego filled Southern Aristocrat ancestors seem like fucken monks, mind you that’s just the boomers and gen X ones in my experience with younger ones just being stupid or mentally ill in my experience.

People who voted for Trump voted for Trump. Go talk to them.

Blaming anyone else is not only an unhinged attempt to claim some sort of moral ownership of an entire bloc, it isn’t even supported by any reasonable reading of the statistics.

This kind of obsession with whipping other people into maintaining an entrenched two-party system is exactly how America let itself spend the last 40 years getting slowly dragged to the Right in the first place.

Maybe the world isn’t full of absolutes?

Maybe there would have been a 10% lower probability of war with Harris, and 80% higher probability of better protection of human rights?

If you are only capable of treating every magnitude of behavior equally, you’ll repeatedly end up with poor outcomes. You need a weighting mechanism that isn’t binary.

Moreover, you have to choose those that are most likely to align with your desired outcome, even if they don’t qualify based on your purity test. Otherwise, you’re just part of the, “I’ve got a number of strong opinions, but I’m going to do jack dick to move in that direction because that candidate isn’t perfect” crowd.

And if you voted for Harris you voted for someone who unashamedly advocated for and spent US tax dollars on everything Israel is doing right now, up to and including sending an Esptein pedophile to multiple states to lecture primary voters on how, actually, it’s a good thing that Joe Biden and Kamala Harris are helping Israel kill their family and friends…

…so I’m not 100% sure what point you think you’re making here. The Dems support war with Iran too, because like Donald, they do everything Israel tells them to.

Did you just sleep through the Biden and Obama presidencies, by chance?

Or the 2024 Democratic primaries, where they literally said they weren’t going to change any of their policies? The same ones supporting the genocide and the state-engineered famine?

You have no reason, whatsoever, to argue that what’s happening now would not be happening under a Harris presidency, and it’s a little annoying being gaslit about it yet again.

Sorry, I meant it more in a poetic sense to mirror the original sentence. But that was obviously not communicated. My point is more that we should be pressuring DNC candidates to meet the low standards of voters, instead of telling voters that they should abandon their principles. The DNC will never be able to successfully confront the GOP without a positive vision of change and position of blue no matter who can’t offer that

            Learn some history.

Back in the day, ex-slave Frederick Douglas had a choice. He could support a full on abolition candidate who was probably going to lose, or support Abe Lincoln. Lincoln had said that he had no plans to abolish slavery. Douglas decided it was better to support the eventual winner and have a seat at the table than make a futile gesture.

This isn’t some issue where Our Aristocrats™ have already made all their policy positions ahead of time and then forced us poor little plebeians to go along with it. I was fucking on the ground in 2016 and 2020. I remember how the Dem primaries - the primaries for the least right-wing third of this country - went.

Voters choose who runs, extraordinary situations like 2024 exempted. In 1992, in 2000, in 2004, in 2008, in 2016, in 2020, the voters chose who they did because most people do not have the same standards of you or I.

I voted for Williamson in those primaries even though I knew she had zero chance of beating the at the time, current sitting president. I also voted for Harris in the generals because I’m not an idiot.

not voting for genociders should be an obvious thing. only American liberals are so fucking morally bankrupt that they think genocide is something that can be excused.

Democrats better have learnt their lesson, because if next elections they run in a campaign to double down on genocide, they’ll lose again.

don’t blame the public for being disgusted by genocide, blame the candidates that masturbate at the sight of babies being blown up.

my reply was probably too harsh. I’m tired of this argument. it’s the choice america was given.

Rapist pedo fascist who you could describe with almost any -ism/-ist, vs boring establishment evil. One more keen on healthcare reform, voting reform, like literally anything you could vaguely could construe as good vs the most stupid && cartoonishly evil foil an imagination could conjure. And here we are saying “Harris would be just as bad!” Like what??? She would be more inclined to take criticism and make changes from her party, which is the only one even remotely opposed to the atrocities in Gaza, let alone the other innumerable ways Trump and his idiot fucking fascists have damaged our infrastructure, bureaucracy, trust, etc.

It’s actually ridiculous to think we “punished” dems. We punished the palestinian people, brown people in america, Iranians, Ukranians – you name it, we fucked it.

we were presented with a baby grinding machine and instead of choosing the smaller one which is less efficient we chose a Henry Ford style baby smashing factory and held that we were morally superior. It’s inane.

not voting throws your vote away. vote for a candidate that does not support genocide, voting for a genocidal candidate means you endorsed a genocide.

if Democrats see a third party getting 2% of the vote they’ll bend over backwards to coopt their policies, including not commiting a genocide.

not voting third party is establishment propaganda, so you only vote for bribed corporate puppets.

Because Harris and Biden were 100% in support of making it worse, and actively supplied WMD’s on request while helping them engineer a famine. And they sent an Epstein pedophile to wag his finger at Palestinians in multiple states for not supporting the killing of their family and friends.

    Let’s see, MAGA promises:

America First - too many good countries to steal, so…Nah.

Epstein Files - they were supposed to be filled with Dems, but it turns out that MAGAs are much more enthusiastic pedophiles, so Nah.

Lower Prices on Day 1: Were beyond Day 400, and prices are still rising, so Nah.

Deporting criminal immigrants: Turns out there aren’t that many, but there are plenty of evil innocent immigrants, school kids, veterans, old people, sick people, etc., so Nah.

Lower Crime: If you don’t count the Paramilitary Death Squads breaking out into spontaneous firing squads against innocent American citizens, so Nah.

So why are MAGAs still on board? Is it the Treason? The virtuosic incompetence?

I’ll bet it’s the Pedophilia. You can always count on MAGA to defend Pedophilia, and this is important to MAGAs, because…

    ALL MAGAs are Pedophiles.

I was with you, up until the end. I don’t believe maga voters are pedophiles. I believe they treat politics like sports. They vote for their team.

The Cleveland Browns signed DeShawn Watson. A guy who was BEFORE SIGNING WITH THR BROWNS already accused by 22 different women of sexual assault.

They signed him to the most expensive contract the NFL had ever seen.

It did not affect business one bit. Fans still came to Browns Stadium to cheer on a rapist. It wasn’t until he became injury prone, and missed 90% of his games while still being paid that fans turned against Watson. Not because he was a rapist, but because he wasn’t winning games.

Thats how Maga is viewing trump. If he wins, he’s their guy. But if he’d have lost the 2024 election, I think his political career would have been done.

Not because he’s a pedophile, but because he wasn’t winning. But since he DID win, they’ll believe he’s not a pedophile. Because if he was a pedophile, that would mean they support a pedophile. But that can’t be true. So obviously he must not be.

      This is how they think.

It’s so frustrating dealing with Browns fans in Cleveland. Today they’ll all say fuck DeShawn Watson. And today they’ll say worst trade in history. But I remember saying that 3 years ago when the trade was fresh. I remember saying I would ban all rapists and drunk drivers from all sports. Regardless of how important they are to a sport. I’d have banned Micheal Jordan in the 90s had he been a rapist. (Just for the record, I’m not saying he is. I’ve never heard that. I’m just saying he’s the most important sports figure of my lifetime, and I would ban him in his prime had he been a rapist).

So when day 1 that trade happened, I said this is terrible. I was told to shut up because now Cleveland can win the superbowl. Today they all agree with me it was a bad trade. But for entirely different reasons.

This is what I see from maga today. They convince themselves he’s not a pedophile, because otherwise that means they voted for a pedophile.

But it doesn’t mean maga ARE pedophiles.

Unless you meant just the politicians, in which case…yeah, most of them might be.

This is a good analogy, but I have something easier: the good old GOP standard of it not being a big deal until it directly affects them. Practically coded into their DNA. Sure raping kids is bad, but in lieu of a video of it actually happening, they can rationalize it away. Kind of like with gay people. They’re all evil deviants who can’t keep their hands to themselves until you learn your daughter is one. Suddenly they’re people with rights, and you’re in your gay daughter’s wedding because why wouldn’t you be? Forget about all those years of dehumanizing citizens because you don’t like what they do in private. You’re enlightened now.

Meanwhile, the QB they ditched for Watson, Baker Mayfield, is still starting in the NFL and magically doesn’t seem to have dozens of scandals. Those same Browns fans could have had a team that just went to the playoffs led by baker that didn’t throw away the next four years of salary cap and first round draft picks. Fucking Haslans.

Nope, this ain’t a weak sports analogy. This isn’t business as usual. This is a global cabal of ultra-wealthy psychopathic pedophiles who built the largest international CHILD sex trafficking operation in known history, and now those same people are in charge of the US government.

These people are the worst sort of pedophiles know to humankind, and anyone who supports them takes responsibility for the same behavior. If you have a known pedophile living in your house, and they are actively molesting children under your roof, and you hide it, cover for it, deny it, and encourage it to continue, YOU are a pedophile, too. You don’t get off the hook because you didn’t actively participate, maybe just watching, or knowing it’s happening, is your personal perversion.

There is no excuse for pedophilia, it is a 100% deal breaker, 100% of the time. And if you aren’t on board with that, you’re an accomplice, and that’s the same thing.

Until MAGA demands full release of the Epstein Files, and a full accounting of any attempts to cover for anyone in those files, ALL MAGAs are considered Pedophiles.

And BTW, the Cleveland Browns dowing something immoral, and the people of Cleveland supporting it, is no evidence of anything except what a cesspool Cleveland is. I know, I grew up there, and hated every moment of it. I left 25 years ago, and haven’t been back. The only things I miss are the Cleveland Orchestra, the Art Museum, the beer at Great Lakes Brewing, and the salsa at Luchita’s. Other than that, it has literally the worst weather of anywhere I’ve ever lived or visited.

They’re like sports fans because that’s what states sponsor sports for. To promote cheering for your team, be it country, political party or local youth league team no matter what. Sports is practice for blind patriotism, fascism and imperialism.

It has not been long from when promoting that spirit was an openly stated goal of organised sports.

You’re not wrong. Today every game begins with the national anthem, however the first usage of that was in the early 1900s. I think 1917, but I could be wrong.

It was at a baseball game. But not before the game. It was actually played during the 7th inning stretch.

My whole life before trump became president the most common opinion on pedophiles was more or less “I could never kill someone, but I could kill a pedophile” and/or “All pedophiles should die”. At the time I was saying if they aren’t actually committing a crime and staying away from children, leave them be because they are probably suffering and sucking it up to have a place in society, or if for no other reason because punishing uncomitted crimes is a slippery slope. Literally nobody agreed with me.

Now nobody wants to even go anywhere near the topic and either does the oh well biden this and clinton that or just sputters non words while actual pedophile rapists not only roam free but have unchecked power, or worse defends the actual criminals. I’m all for killing these ones but I even get a bunch of “voilence is not the answer” from people who have previously said they would kill a pedophile even if they actively stay away from any and all situations involving minors.

We never should have let them kill Harambe.

The voted for war against lgbtq people, libs, “illegals”, science, the constitution, “woke”, the economy, and whatever else. They just didn’t plan on real war that doesn’t benefit them in any selfish way.

We can save time by just giving each of them, like, 4 more of these right now.

Oh, no, you’re apparently all wrong. This is all Joe Biden’s fault. And also 100% Kamala’s fault. This isn’t the fault of the voters or Republican politicians or even the current president nor his administration or Republican controlled ALL THREE BRANCHES of government.
