    my last anesthesia had the anesthesiologist asking me how it felt and i was like “yeah a bit tingly i guess… oh god now I’m gone” and then i truly was gone.

    This is nonsense. Epidurals don’t reach your brain. Not how it works. They just numb the spinal nerves so pain signals don’t reach the brain.

      I had a hernia that the doctor planned to just jam back into me with his thumb. He was like “this is gonna Hella hurt”

      “K”

      “You wanna fentayl?”

      “You’re the doctor”

      So they put some in my IV and… Holy shit… I GET why people throw thier lives away for that feeling. Not saying they should or it’s a good idea… but I GET it.

        I’ve never been given fentayl, but I once broke my wrist quiet badly and needed surgery. I got an opioid prescription and damn it was nice. Still the best sleep I’ve ever had.

        Like if I could take a 3 day weekend once a year and do that legally I would.

    My famous last words during my last anesthesia where “fuck yeah”, and that without fentanyl. I guess they hear something along that line often, that stuff bangs.
