Donald Trump announced Sunday that Republicans plan to dispense a large “Election Integrity Army” to every single state for the 2026 midterms – invoking his debunked claims that the United States does not have fair elections. In a message on his Truth Social platform the president appeared to attribute his “Historic Election in 2024” to the fact that the Republican National Committee sent thousands of volunteers across the country to poll watch or assist with election litigation through a volunteer program. “During my Historic Election in 2024, when I won every single Swing State, and decisively won both the Electoral and Popular votes by wide margins, the Republicans had an Election Integrity Army in every single State to preserve the sanctity of each legal vote. We will be doing the same again in 2026, but it will be much bigger and stronger,” Trump wrote. Trump did not elaborate on who would be part of the “Election Integrity Army” or how large it would be.

They are still insisting that they are in the right.

I say that a movement that can’t be bothered to vote, or even spoil its ballot, is not credible in doing the higher order civil disobedience.

He can’t change our vote by mail status and any jack boots coming here are in for a surprise…

Election integrity here is ALREADY maintained by precinct committee persons. It’s an elected position.

One of their job duties is monitoring ballot drop off locations for tampering and intimidation.

He can use that army to deter those mails from reaching their target because he sees them as suspect.

And if they see it happening, who’s going to stop it?

If the US doesn’t have fair elections—how did Trump get elected twice? Oh right b/c they’re fair when maggots get their way, and elections are rigged when they lose. If Mango Shittler sends armies to polling stations is it fair to say……that there will be blood???

Hypocrisy or contradictions are not an obstacle for fascism, at all. Quite the opposite! So yes they want you to know they cheated, and that they outsmarted you that way, because you were too dumb to stop them, it’s not something that they want to hide, it’s a powermove. As in I can cheat and you can’t do anything about it even if you tried.

      Here is a literal quote:

“Wenn unsere Gegner sagen: Ja, wir haben Euch doch früher die […] Freiheit der Meinung zugebilligt – –, ja, Ihr uns, das ist doch kein Beweis, daß wir das Euch auch tuen sollen! […] Daß Ihr das uns gegeben habt, – das ist ja ein Beweis dafür, wie dumm Ihr seid!” - Rede vom 4. Dezember 1935

translation: “When our opponents say: ‘Yes, we did grant you the […] freedom of opinion earlier – –’, well, the fact that you granted it to us is certainly no proof that we should do the same for you! […] That you gave it to us – that is precisely proof of how stupid you are!”

So he admitting that he stole the election in 2024. Because he just magically won every single swing state by large margins? The same states that Musk so happen to make sure all the voting machines worked “properly”.

Motherfucker spent all the time from when he lost until 2024 claiming Biden stole the election, so after he did just that he can now claim us all nuts for saying he stole this election.

Because if we ever crawl out of this fascist mess (which I highly doubt) we will learn that Harris won all the legitimate votes and the votes for Trump were is base at 30% rest were faked.

You know what annoys me the most about that thing? The Democratic leadership didn’t insist on any double checking or tests to ensure that the voting wasn’t fixed. They just shrugged their shoulders and assumed everything was above board.

        Or worse, didn’t care.

He just assumes that both sides are rigged, and whoever rigs it best is the winner. That’s why he was so pissed in 2020. He knows it was rigged, but so many voted against him that it invalidated whatever he did. He was more successful at rigging the 2024 election.

He’s going to rig 2028, too. Don’t be surprised if the smoke clears, and he gets more votes than the other candidates, so he has no choice but to honor the will of the people over the Constitution, and remain in office.

We have NEVER cancelled an election in this country, not during WWII, not even during the Civil War. Cancelling an election is a BRIGHT RED LINE, that will not be crossed. If it is, it is INSTANT Civil War.

I will not recognize an unelected MAGA government.

Who is gonna lead a civil war? You?

Are you in third grade? Is that the depths of your intelligence, that when someone makes a suggestion, the best you can do is shoot it down because the person making the suggestion can’t implement it? That means that the ONLY people who can make suggestions about our future are those who can actually make their suggestions happen, like Sociopathic Oligarchs. That’s what your dumb comment translates as.

No, I’m not going to lead a Civil War, that’s not my skill set. But that doesn’t mean I can’t identify those who do have that skill set.

What do you think all those knowledgeable, experienced military leaders that Hegseth and Trump fired are doing?

Who knows? We haven’t heard a peep from ANY of them. After a lifetime of navigating one of the most difficult career tracks in the world, getting to the highest reaches of power, motivated not by money, but by the personal mission of protecting America from ALL enemies, foreign and DOMESTIC, they seem to have disappeared.

The greatest domestic national security threat since the Civil War has taken over the nation, and gotten rid of them, so they can’t thwart MAGA’s treasonous plans. Surely, those military leaders have accepted their ignominious firings, which were accompanied by public disparagement of themselves and the jobs they invested their entire lives in doing, and are sitting on the veranda, drinking cocktails, and watching the sun set on the nation that they failed to protect, right?

I doubt it. Some were probably willing to chuck it all, and get on with retirement, but these are guys who have lived their entire lives literally waiting and planning for the next fight. These are NOT guys who give up easy. I would bet that at least a few of them are talking to each other, and creating some sort of plan if a Civil War breaks out, and we aren’t going to hear a word about it until it happens

If there’s a Civil War, military leadership will NOT be a problem, we have no end of great military leadership on our side. I suspect the military leadership on their side isn’t as loyal as they assume, and since they’ve fired all the moral competence, much of what is left is corrupt incompetence. Many of them will be able to be just bought off, MAGA’s Achille’s Heel.

The problem will be Civil Leadership. In a situation like a spontaneous Civil War, rebel leadership will most likely default to the current leadership, which means the MAGA comedy act of Schmuck & Jeffries will be the headliners, and that would be disastrous.

Weak Civil leadership (and it doesn’t get any weaker than Schmuck & Jeffries), will only lead to a Military takeover, and having a Military Dictator wouldn’t be any better than a Capitalist Dictator. We need to identify and support leadership candidates that we can count on in a Civil War. So far, about the only only ones showing any real leadership strength are the progressives, and those who instructed the military to ignore illegal orders. Those are the kinds of people who should be in charge.

If I had to pick one that I would trust to lead us in a Civil War, one who understands both the political and military sides of the conflict, I think the best choice might be Mark Kelly. He’s got the military experience, is extremely intelligent, not a whiff of corruption in his entire career, and he’s tough enough, and brave enough, to go toe-to-toe with MAGA, and not back down.

If Mark Kelly emerged as the defacto leader, with a competent military led by MAGA’s cast-off officers, I’d be on board with that Rebellion.

Every non Republican since 2016 has been hoping that someone is gonna come somehow and save the US from Trump. We’re in 2026, Trump is still president and nothing seems to push back against him.

I don’t believe in a sudden revolutionary surge in the US. Shit’s gonna get worse, slowly, irrevocably, unless the general population develop some sense of solidarity and there’s real political involvement from the population at every level. But that’s hard in a population as divided as the United States’.

You didn’t make a suggestion, you made a prediction. I’m saying I don’t believe civil war is inevitable if the election is cancelled. So many things have already happened that should have inevitably led to revolution and hasn’t. If these guys are planning one, I want to know what they’re waiting for

Trump did not elaborate on who would be part of the “Election Integrity Army” or how large it would be.

It’s a dog whistle to the “militia” people.

      You are understanding correctly.

Leading up to November 2024 elections, he said on multiple media outlets “We already have all the votes we need. The election has already been decided. It’s the last election you’ll ever need to vote in. Thats how good we rigged it.”

      Literally said it MULTIPLE times.

And now he’s talking about it again, openly as being rigged.

He’s saying the quiet part outloud, and nobody is outraged, because nobody is taking him at face value.

He claimed 2016 was rigged too. He’s been preparing people since the beginning for this.

Let’s send a “Presidential Integrity Army” to the White House. A few million should do the trick. Burn it to the ground, with the rats and roaches trapped inside. It will be worth the cost to rebuild it.

Americans are too fat, disengaged, and complacent to ever raise one fat bloated finger off the couch to do anything. They are a population completely lulled into passivity.

They mentioned protest. You jumped to blowing someone’s head off. This is what’s wrong with America. You think that the next reasonable step after doing nothing is outright murder. It’s not.

What does that even mean? He’s already president with secret service protection, so it’s not as if he’d be particularly easy to kill now (and has had it since well before being elected) and it’s not as though there’s some special “become impossible to kill button” he’s waiting for the midterms to press.

Do you mean, it’ll be too late for killing him to stop the things that are in motion? Because that’s always been the case. Killing some senile octogenarian was never going to make a difference.

Real life isn’t a movie. You’re not cutting the red wire with 1 second left on the clock counting down to fascism.

You’re trivializing a serious situation. If you weren’t an ML, I’d have a discussion with you, but since you’re clearly only interested in watching the US catch on fire, I don’t think talking to you would be useful. So, I’m just gonna preemptively block you. Have a the day you voted for.

I’m not, actually. I just want the US to refocus on confronting the domestic roots of fascism rather than trying to control the world, while fascism is so deeply rooted.

I guess I should know better than to expect a liberal to answer any serious question under any circumstances.

fwiw, recognizing that something needs to be done, vs having the means to be the one to actually do it are two very different animals. No need to ridicule the former; and if you’re the latter then I sure as fuck hope you’re not posting about it online.

They’ve already replied and said they don’t really mean, “we.”

100% agree with you. There is no amount of organization we could do (for that specific goal) that wouldn’t get shut down violently.

Yeah true. The way I see it, the ‘we’ in this case is a lot bigger than just the US. Anyone who pulls that off will instantly become not just an American hero, but a global hero. “We” is all of humanity.

Like… in the 1930s, if some Ethiopian dude just popped up from beneath everyone’s radar and put a bullet between Hitler’s eyes, he’d be a hero everywhere, but especially in Germany.

And as long as it’s been with no results, I don’t think there’s anyone in the US willing/able to step up, so in light of our (US) spinelessness, we (the entire planet) may be relying on importing those skills from another nation.

Wishful thinking ofc. If justice, legal or vigilante, was going to happen, it would have by now.
