Comparatively it’s not that expensive to get someone to write up an enforceable NDA. Once you cross a threshold it’s worth it to you to make it illegal to share that with anyone else so you know it’s exclusive. For what it’s worth NDAs can’t protect illegal activity, so hopefully it’s being surpressed by other illegal means, not our government (not that I’m that naive)
