If all transport was bikes, trains and trams - you most likely still can get everywhere by foot.
If all transport was cars - not neccessarily; is what I think is the main thing that separates it from straight up deception
I think you missed the part where they are lying to the conservatives to get them on board with things that are actively good for them
I wouldn’t call it lying. The traditional means of transportation is walking, people have been doing it for thousands of years.
Unfortunately, conservatives are known to claim that things that have been happening for thousands of years are actually new
