I see your point, but I’ve been giving this some thought, and here’s why I think he only deserves to be forgotten. Terry Pratchett said that a man only truly dies when no-one ever speaks their name again. Kirk is physically dead, but even in mockery, this stuff is keeping him alive in everyone’s minds. All he ever wanted was attention. All these ‘conservative’ grifters ever want is attention. Kirk, Ben Shapiro, Matt Walsh, Tim Pool, Candice Owens and the rest of them are the same. The strongest weapon against them is to ignore them, like all trollers. Attention, even the negative kind, only fuels them further. You don’t need to remember them to be able to spot future examples - they tend to stand out.

The only way Kirk will ever truly be dead is when we never hear anything about him again. I bet even his harpy of a wife has forgotten about him at this point. So should we.

Edit to add: Meanwhile, Tyler Robinson, the real victim here - a dumb kid that, allegedly, made a bad decision - languishes in jail, largely forgotten, with spurious evidence as to his guilt. Gun violence and school shootings continue unabated, the victims nameless and forgotten. Gun control continues to be largely ignored and nothing has fucking changed! But yeah, let’s remember Charlie Fucking Kirk.

He’s not that historically important. Just a noisy dumbfuck with nothing worthwhile to say.
