Exactly. Donald J Trump, Presidential of the United States, deserves to be tried in a court of law, found guilty, and hung by the neck until dead for his illegal extrajudicial murder of over a hundred people on the waters of the Caribbean, among the numerous capital offenses he has committed.

Pretending this was real and that she even named Trump, it wouldn’t be a threat because it’s stating he deserves a legally applied punishment which would require a trial and sentencing.

Reddit admins can piss off. I’m currently on a seven-day ban because I dared suggest in terms that weren’t quite indirect enough that oligarchs in the US should be dealt with. I didn’t even suggest how&[guillotines if you must know], just that something should be done.

Two more such bans and I’ll have to create another new account and get my two subreddits to re-mod me.

        It’s such bullshit.

    So story time.

Back near the 2016 election, with the news covering Clinton Vs. Trump, a douchebag I worked with… a former(?) military guy… often talked about how he and a few military buddies of his had stockpiles of guns and ammo and he knew folks in the military yet. And would say something to the effect “if she wins, well sometimes things happen to planes” implying he or one of his military buddies was going to assassinate Clinton if she won. I told a military friend of mine who said, crap like that gets said all the time an nothing is ever done about it.

Fun fact, said douchebag got arrested by the police for soliciting what he thought was a minor. Eat shit Phil.

His statement straight up confirms he thinks the president is a pedophile. I wonder if he realizes.

So, out of context (time) given the missing dates? I’d read it as Democrat damning a pedo and a Repub yelling about it because it’s Trump.

I like the true version better. How old is the first tweet?

Anna Paulina Luna is a (usually nuts, as is now standard) Republican, so it’s def about something other than Trump.

Her tweet is from like Feb 13th apparently. Maybe she was referring to Ghislaine Maxwell wanting clemency in exchange for providing info? Not really sure tbh.

I think this a gotcha aimed at the GOP, as the congresswoman is a shitty Florida republican.

Just a few days back, Ilhan Omar replied back to Trump insulting her and somalia with the following:

“The leader of the Pedophile Protection Party is trying to deflect attention from his name being all over the Epstein files. At least in Somalia they execute pedophiles not elect them.”

The right wing flipped its shit as usual and tried to say she was threatening the presidents life. I think Elijah is just turning that dumb bullshit around here.

Oh, look! Another disingenuous, confidence gaming piece of shit has entered Florida’s 20th race. Fascism about to become real and much more dangerous and we have amoral, shithole Florida districts all trying to play “Who can elect the biggest grifter?!?”

All pedophiles who have committed acts should receive the death penalty, period. They have no place in our world.

There are those that somehow have that urge but don’t ever act on it, and I think they do at least deserve less punishment than what the actual rapists and stuff do.

And what about the innocents that only get framed for pedophilia? Do they also deserve the death penalty?

Because you can’t take the death penalty back, you know.

They don’t deserve any punishment at all. I can only imagine how horrifying it must be to live with that kind of illness, and the fact that they have enough humanity to control themselves is commendable. I want a future where non-offending pedophiles are treated with compassion by society so that they feel empowered to reach out to community and professional help.

The real monsters are the people who abuse children when they don’t even have pedophilia in the first place. The ones who just want to inflict suffering.

As for the death penalty, what about innocent people who are convicted? What about the kid who keeps his mouth shut because he doesn’t want the police to kill Daddy? What about the pedo kidnapper who always murders their victims because it’s easier to not get caught that way?

Sure, but I’m assuming even if someone isn’t violent, they are participating in CSAM or whatever you call it now, so they are viewing and sharing exploited children, which further encourages the producers of that content to make more. I haven’t researched the entire thing but that seems to make sense. That’s why I said they should be punished for participating. If they’re literally going through life normally without any kind of action online or in real life, then sure good for them.

edit: saw the second part of the comment, and yeah I don’t have an answer for that, but please share your source on stats that those behaviors would happen. Whatever policy we do should be driven by empirical data, not just vibes.

I have known two pedophiles in my life. One was my cousin who molested me when I was five, the other was a severely mentally disabled man whose family used him for CSAM as a child.

The two should absolutely not be treated the same.

I think you misunderstand. The second man in my statement was groomed into pedophilia from childhood. As in, his family simply switched his roles in the videos as he got older. He was convicted by the courts as a perpetrator and got a plea deal due to mental deficiency, but he’s still on the list.

According to actual experts that’d be a great way to make sure children don’t report any relatives who abuse them

Not to mention, the death penalty should only be for the people in power, including billionaires, CEOs, etc… The government should not have the ability to kill the people. Only the other way around.

          Here is a source:

          https://deathpenaltyinfo.org/new-voices-victims-advocates-prosecutors-caution-against-expansion-of-texas-death-penalty

Yes, it’s opinionated, but I wouldn’t expect this subject to have a real amount of actual statistics. It’s more of a case-by-case thing. I can contribute with that I have a friend who was molested by her teacher. It’s not like she was thrilled to hear about it when the teacher had killed himself many years later. I’m pretty sure she would be opposed to the death penalty for him.

For every story that the victim wouldn’t have wanted the death of their abuser, how many are there where the victim would sleep better knowing their victim isn’t the in the world anymore? Anecdotal doesn’t mean much on its own when it comes to policy.

I agree it’s case by case. In the most severe cases, death penalty. There’s lots of gray area, like in anything else in life.
